Hey sean...

I was going thru your post on the WP support forum and saw that you had a problem with 404 pages for any clicked links (comment/categories/even the post-title). (http://wordpress.org/support/topic/37873)

So I checked out your site (nice job btw) and noticed that you seem to have fixed the problem.

Dyu have any pointers for me on how you dd it??

Thanks in advance.

i just fiddled with the sidebar.php file and figured it out. i love when my trial and error finally pays off. ;~)

i also figured out that my weird code on an internal page was due to improper line endings. it was easy to fix once i knew the problem. whew!

i just figured out more by fiddling with the index.php page. now, all that's left is the font on the links, but i imagine once i get rid of nested lists, the problem will fix itself.

i still haven't fixed the weird code; however, i am finally getting the categories of external links to appear with the correct links below them. of course, the font is messed up and i can't get rid of the long list of links that was there originally, but i am making progress. slow progress and a lot of trial and error, but sometimes that's the best way to learn . . . though, i have no doubt it also hampers many people from even trying to begin with.
