Looks like we’re both using student blogs for our GVSU classes. This is good to see. I’ve been using blogspirit for a couple of semesters and generally like its complement of free features, though the service has been a little buggy from time to time.
Anyway, this is just a quick hello from a like-minded colleague.
my students use a service called blogsome, which uses wordpress (this blog i have is made with wordpress, but it’s hosted by my own server — so i don’t personally use blogsome), but i think too many of my students have had issues with it — it’s a small company and they have some growing pains. i’ll seek something else for next semester. i’ll have to check out a new blogging service offered by GVSU - IT that i learned about a few weeks ago. it’s not blackboard, so it has that going for it. ;~)
